An Outreach Program in a Home for the Aged

Last Dec. 18, 2010, we had our outreach program in "Tahanang Mapagpala" Malolos City, Bulacan. The delicious food, special number prepared by the students and gift giving really made our elderly very happy.

And the students danced enthusiastically together with the caregivers! hihi

I can't help but cry when i saw lola. I lost my grandparents 6 years ago and i really missed them.

you're my favorite :)

It is always my desire to become a volunteer in any kind of activities or organization that help either old folks and street children.

SIMBANG GABI

Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, Malolos City

Meeting till 8pm, so tired and starving.. pero kung hindi sa pagkatagal tagal na meeting na yun, hnd ko makikita habang naglalakad ako sa patio ang ganda ng mga ilaw na ito. Ahhh okay simbang gabi na nga pala bukas, as usual hindi na naman ako makakabuo ng simbang gabi or hindi ako makakapagsimba even once dahil hindi ako masipag gumising :P

This picture was taken with my lomo for iphone, sana meron akong camera para mas maganda ang pagkakakuha ( kahit hindi ako magaling ). At sigurado ako na kapag may camera na ako, my students will be my favorite models. Im sure i don't have to direct them how to pose.haha! Exciting! Kung makakabuo lang siguro ako ng simbang gabi siguro yun ang wish ko :)

one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life..

I actually didn’t have a clue to what course I was going to take in college. My Ina ( lola ) recommended my course. At first, i never wanted to be a teacher because i've always thought that it was a very boring job..

• having to make lesson plans
• teaching for countless hours
• and the thing i hate the most is dealing with noisy kids

But then after graduation, I decided to work right away. And i really felt that it was where I belonged. I realized that being a teacher is not just a profession.. It's a devotion where you need LOVE and BE HAPPY in the path you've chosen..
Yes, I’ve been teaching for three wonderful years now and i'm so proud and happy with it ♥
